Even though we are apart on our special day my heart is always with you. I am forever looking forward to our time together, not just the next few months, but our lifetime together thereafter. I do not need many things in my life. The most important will be that at the end of each the day I can know that I spent it loving you. That is perhaps all I may need in life. How many wishes did you make when you were little? I made hundreds. I would see a dandelion from afar and run as fast as I could. I always picked it carefully because I didn’t want any of the stems to break away. I thought maybe it would be less magical. I closed my eyes and wished for better days, I wouldn’t open them until I was sure my wish was in the wind. As a kid I believed in anything that granted wishes. Wells, stars, candles, Genies, eyelashes and the dandelion. I must say not many wishes came true, but that never stopped me from trying. On March 1st 2012 in Sleeping Beauty’s castle, I made a very important wish. It was more of a continued wish, a wish that things would never go back. It’s a wish that comes true every day, and in each passing day, gives me a stronger bond. I have a chace to live a life with the best person I know. Squishy is everything I had ever wished for and things I didn’t even know possible. She humbles and enlightens me everyday. She has given me and opened up a whole new world. Every morning I wake up with more wishes. Nowadays they come true at staggering rates. ⛲

At night, I dream about our past. I dream about our present. I dream about our future. There are so many things to look forward to that I can’t help but imagine being a free bird that could fly to be by your side at all times. In my dreams, distance is never a factor between us. You are always right there, next to me. Just like you are this very moment even if only in spirit. But being here for me like you are now is all I really ever need. The rest is what I want. And for now, I have that in my dreams. I know that soon enough we will be together without having to ever say goodbye or “see you later”. Until then, I promise that every time I close my eyes to rest at night, there you’ll be. You are all I could ever dream of because finally, I have found my perfect dream. A dream that has become a reality for me. I love you.
